The welfare, drugs, crime, etc., in the city of Detroit give some idea of what type of population votes for him. Gotta say, though, the last election in Detroit was hysterical - the candidates were arguing about which one of them padded the ballot box with the most dead voters.
My aunt, Sister Mary Zachary, IHM, died last week at age 95. Years ago, she told me that she had taught Dingell in the third grade in a school in downtown Detroit. Too bad she didn’t work on little Johnny a bit harder and beat some sense into him with that T-Square (like they did to me).
