I agree. A great deal of autistic children have seizure disorders. My austistic son has had two seizures in his lifetime (he is 5), but does not have a disorder.

I am actually a school nurse and when I think about some of “my kids” I have to admit I get teary eyed only because these kids have grabbed my heart.
When I was in school the special needs kids were always in a room by themselves and now they are part of the student population and there is no great “mystery” about these children.
One of our teachers was at a party and one of the fellow party guests was boastful about the private school his child attended. He was proud that his school had more diversity than our public school. The teacher said “That may be true but our students have compassion, because they have the privilege of going to school with special needs children. How many special needs kids are in your school?”....to which he had no reply.
