As if we don't already have enough encouragements for Mexicans to come here and have anchor babies. Now add a $5000 bonus.

A government which robs Peter to pay Paul can always depend on the support of Paul.

Rush says that when McGovern proposed this, he was laughed off the stage.

If Hillary gets in and you are just a working, heterosexual, white guy with no kids, you are gonna be soooo screwed.

About 4.1 million babies were born in the United States last year. [www.usatoday.com/news/health/2006-11-21-births_x.htm]
So, I think maybe 4.1M babies times $5,000 = $20,500,000,000,000
I don't think a tax increase on the rich will pay for this!

This is a form of what McGovern proposed at some point prior to the
1972 prez election. I think it was every man, woman and child in the US
would see a 10K deposit to his bank acct. I think it was a call to buy
votes. And we all know what Nixon did to McGovern! The most lopsided
landslide victory in US history. Wasn’t it 49-1 in terms of the state popular
vote? Or was that Reagan vs Peanutbrain in 1980?\
And now McGovern is throwing his weight behind Hilwitch!

Madam (Eva Peron) Clinton is a greater threat to this nation than Al-Qaeda and the the rest of the Islmaist terrorists. It’s time we focus in on her and stop bashing GOP candidates, otherwise in Nov. ‘08 we’ll wake up one morning and find that a hammer and sickle has bee added to the stars and stripes.

Rarely have I seen electoral bribery taken to quite this simple and base a level. Its almost impressive, in a twisted sort of way.WOW! I didn't even consider that. Yup, you're right.
"Vote for me and get 5G" Could be a campaign slogan.

That woman is nuts, and to think she even has a chance to be president...Oh well, we can't say we haven't been warned.
June 2004 she made the comment, "We're going to take things away from you on behalf of the common good."
We should never ever forget that statement.

$5,000? What a cheapskate! Why not make it $1,000,000 for every baby plus a million for each parent. Create millions of new millionaires who can be tapped for illegal campaign contributions.

First we raise cigarette taxes to $1,000 a cigaret.
THEN we make everyone REQUIRED to be a smoker.
AND we criminalize people who refused to smoke and make them pay TRIPPLE fines for NOT smoking!

If anyone had any illusions about Democrats being fiscally responsible, dispense with that fantasy right now.
