I don’t agree with that. She may have been brainwashed by the culture that says a helpless life is not a valued life. I refuse to believe that all, or even most women and girls that have abortions are spiritually dead. Rather, I believe the culture has deadened them.

I think that’s the case too. It’s considered common place now (get pregnant, get rid of it, etc.). But even over 20 years ago, I know of girls who aborted or girls who had the baby and gave it up for adoption even though their parents suggested abortion (and too many of those parents were so called Christians). I will never forget my husband’s situation - his sister got pregnant and his parents suggested an abortion because of their issues (Christians, the shame would be too much for THEM, etc.). My cousin got pregnant, I was in high school, and her mother and sisters suggested abortion - that was close to 25 years ago. I will never understand the shame v life stuff.

I agree with you. The culture or something is deadening them/their parents. I always knew as a teen/young adult not to do stuff, lol, but I also knew if I did and got pregnant, then we’d all work it out somehow. I certainly wasn’t what my parents would want for me but heck it happens and you deal with it.

I have 4 girls, two teens now. I hope they know that no matter what, they can come to us and after the screaming or sad faces and tears, we’ll all deal with it. Abortion is never the answer. Ever.
