When Asians savers stop buying our treasuries...

And so a recession will do what, exactly, to keep asians buying our treasury notes?

It's inflation that will finally persuade foreign buyers of our treasuries to stop buying them unless they discount them to effectively get inflation-hedged yields. Those yields will raise interest rates everywhere, that's what could lead to more turmoil, cash preservation behavior at corporations and banks, that'll lead to recession.

A serious attempt by the Fed to break inflation (the M3 the world sees)coupled with moderation in federal spending, could prevent this from happening, but don't hold your breath because the Fed has two feet into it the other way now.
