Dan Rather is making headlines suing his former employer, but Rathers predecessor, Walter Cronkite, is busy promoting world government. Cronkite has just surfaced as one of the 101 prominent leaders signing a letter urging Senate passage of the Law of the Sea Treaty. His CBS affiliation is listed on the letter, making it seem as though the media giant is taking sides in the debate over the pact. This would not be surprising; media coverage has been overwhelmingly pro-treaty. A news conference I participated in on September 26 to oppose the treaty was ignored by most of the media. However, Newsmax.com, CNSNews.com and the Washington Times were among those covering it.

Wally sees himself as The Old Man and the Sea. He is a sailor or was when he wasn’t drooling all the time. Now he doesn’t know port from starboard.

The damage he did to this country during the Vietnam war wasn’t enough for him. Now he wants to surrender our sovereignty.

LOST didn’t need Cronkite’s endorsement. I already knew it was unAmerican.

I recall as a young man believing that whatever came out of Cronkite’s mouth was honest and accurate.
My assessment of him changed quickly, but fell into the abyss when he attempted to provide “clinton the pervert” some vicarious credibility by taking him out on his sailboat for a photo-op when clinton was having such difficulty telling the truth. I guess birds of a feather sail together too.

Listen to the testimony from this site if you can. At least listen to Sen. Ritter from about 1:59 to 2:07. He has more questions later also. The Treaty is not all that it appears to be.
