In court, the man admitted to filming the women but he denied that he did it so that he could watch the films. Instead, he argued that the filming challenge itself was exciting. Nevertheless, reported Upsala Nya Tidningen, he conceded that he had been 'an idiot'.

a video camera hidden in a bag under their
skirts. He was ordered by the court to pay
5,000 kronor in compensation to one of the
women. Most of the women in the films were
not identifiable.”
At least not from that angle.
I'm sure the judge pondered the films for days before he reached that conclusion. Maybe he will consult with some of his colleagues for more help in identifying the "victims" of the photographer.

In case you’d actually find yourself in a situation like this, you might find a lawyer who’d be willing to defend your case, not out of conviction of your innocence, but out of the desire for cash.

- There are several plausible reasons for having small mirrors attached to work boots. Not that I can think of many, but there might just be.

This was in Sweden. You don’t have to get surreptitious to look up a woman’s dress. You can just ask.
Worldwide, people seem to nourish a lot of prejudices regarding Swedish women.
Truth is, Swedish women are just like women are everywhere. For instance, like the women of Britain.
