Al Qaeda on the ropes?
The Washington Times ^ | September 28, 2007 | Arnaud de Borchgrave

Posted on 09/30/2007 7:32:59 AM PDT by lormand

Osama bin Laden "is a man on the run, from a cave, who is virtually impotent other than the tapes" he releases from time to time. That was the mid-September assessment of Frances Fragos Townsend, top adviser to President Bush on Homeland Security, terrorism and counterterrorism.

Reading this, and then seeing pro Ron Paul threads which are to the benefit of Al Qaeda steams me even more now.

Has this advisor actually watched the recent tape?
If anything, it supports the hypothesis that Binny
is a dead parrot. The “I’m alive. Here are comments
on recent events to prove it.” moments all occur
during video freeze-frame. The younger beard was an
obvious clue to look for further clues. If the media
(including “new” media) weren’t so blinded by their
agendas, they might have taken a look.

But I suspect the Admin knows this, and has quite
reasonably concluded that Binny is more useful to
the WOT in a status of “undead” than “all dead”.
The media won’t call Bush on pretences that Binny
is alive.

Interesting analysis. Bush uses an undead bin laden to continue the War on Terror, and our enemies both foreign and domestic use an undead bin laden to say that Bush is failing in the War on Terror, simply because bin laden is still alive. Poor little ole' bin laden: Everyone is using him as a prop in their own political agendas.

The world will know that Al Qaeda is dead when the Socialists and MSM start using Nazi and “Al Qaeda” interchangeably to slander conservatives.

If 10% of 1 billion Muslims are islamist that's 100 million right there. But it seems islamism is built into Islam in general. That's a lot of enemy to either kill or be conquered by.

What to do?

Yeah, it's one of the most interesting things about the war on terrorism...everyone wants the perception that bin Laden is alive. I thinks it's extremely likely he was killed on Dec 9, 2001, but the Administration wants him considered alive to continue the war on terrorism full throttle, the CIA wants him consisdered alive so they can continue to do what they love best, manipulate foreign governments for American interests, and the Dems and the media want him considered alive so they can accuse Bush of ineptness. Funny bedfellows here.

This then makes SIX articles in the last week, four of them summarized here (http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/1903792/posts?page=1) and the fifth is Fred Kagan's piece in www.opinionjournal.com that Rush talked about.

Word is getting out that not only are we winning the IRAQ front, but we are winning the War on Terror!!!!

Lol. The “Undead Bin Laden.” Sounds like a new horror movie. But you hit on a fact: if, by some chance, we can prove that we GOT Bin Laden, the “war on terror” is over even if there are still a million Zawahiris out there. The Dems and the media will convince Americans the threat is over . . . until, 5 or 10 years later, we have to do it all again, the right way.

Looks like the war on terror is almost over quite frankly. Well the main points is the Bush administrations masterful use of diplomacy, military and intelligence services.

Other factors is this booming global economy, muslims I see are preoccupied with how to get richer. They also love all the gee whiz consumer technology ‘the west’ is inventing.

On a more sinister level, the western nations including America let them immigrate here and we will sell them the crown jewels of our economy. So for them why bother killing people to further their long term ends? Gradually buy up America.. and immigrate and breed like rabbits in our nations until they take over.

What strikes me about this article was the paragraph that goes like this,

"Republican front-runner Rudolph Giuliani's foreign policy adviser Norman Podhoretz has a new book titled, "World War IV: The Long Struggle Against Islamofascism." Last June, in an article in Commentary magazine (which he edited for almost four decades) Mr. Podhoretz "begged" President Bush to bomb Iran before Iran nukes Israel."

I agree with this assessment. People keep saying that if Iran was bombed that it would further upset the stability in the region. I say the opposite, it would greatly improve the stability in the region by taking out Russia and China's front organization.

And make no mistake about it, Russia, and to a small degree China, are the nations largely responsible for destabilizing the middle east. You take out Iran and the other nations like Syria would be rendered impotent.

Which is why God gave the Christians and the pagans 99% of the worlds nukes. A fact the Islamo-Nazis forget at their peril. Chicken Little's need to consider the other side of their math. 1 Billion Muslims is 5 billion NON Muslims they have to conquer.
