Send them a super sized container ship full of bibles. To show how much we appreciate his gift of 100 books.

They should hang on to those, they may be worth a lot of money next year when Iran no longer exist.

Use them as toilet paper...then send them back.
To: monkeycard
Quarantine them to be sure they’re not seeded with virulent small pox.

I’ll remind Americans that Adolph Hitler sued an American publisher who printed Mien Kampf for informational purposes without paying him a royalty.

This reminds me of a classmate from undergrad.
One of my classmates in my undergrad years was Iranian. His parent fled in 1979 and came to the US. If you wanted to see him get seriously p*ssed, just say “Ayatollah Khomeni” or “Jimmy Carter.” He’d go ballistic about the Ayatollah “destroying persian pride and culture” and “Jimmy Carter being a liar who betrayed the Shah.” Then, he’d wax poetic about the Shah. He would talk about a sincere hope that the “evil mongrels” who ruled his country would be overthrown and fed to dogs.

Well, his parents fled because of their loyalty to the Shah. He was a wee tyke when they came to the US, but he had a seething loathing for Khomeni and his band of jackasses. He saw himslef as an American, but one who longed for the country of his birth to “retain its former glory.” He also often talked of Iran as a western nation hijacked by barely literate killers. It was always interesting to have conversations with him.
