"...its conservative to be against free trade and national infrastructure?..." When doing so destroys national and state sovereignty, yes. If Mexico and Canada want to become part of the US UNDER THE CONSTITUTION, let'em petition Congress.

Of course. Its all a myth until it isn’t.
Since this is such a great thing and so important you might think that its proponents would be trumpeting their grand visions for all to see in plain sight.
But no. They prefer to do their work under cover of darkness and pretend (publicly) its all a myth until it’s a reality. Oops! Did we forget to tell ya’ll about that lil trans national highway thingie with those ports that have foreign sovereignty scattered throughout its length? It must have slipped our collective minds!
Sorry! Now sit down and shut up. WE control this show.

We absolutely need Duncan Hunter. He is the only candidate (IMHO) worthy of the office of POTUS - the only candidate who, for years, has shown his total support of the people who voted him into office. He listens to, hears and acts on what his constituants want.
I agree. But the media has already told us who we can vote for.

"so protect the border. ensure that no illegals are coming across" Not that I disagree, but precisely how does doing that stop attacks on national sovereignty like the "Security and Prosperity Partnership"?
To: Wonder Warthog
I’m for building a big highway...not necessarily for any “partnership.” But what I am concerned with is anything that comes in control of the UN and not so bothered by trade arrangements we choose to make with our allies.
I’d be for many “nafta’s” instead of one big global WTO.

Terrorism is a proper response to the mere opening of a highway? Some here have truly earned the title of anti-immigration jihadi.

So, where does Fred stand/sit on this issue?I don't really know on this in particular. I have been done with fred ever since McCain/Feingold. Thereafter, the term "path to citizenship" crossed his lips... That tells me all I need to know about fred. JMO.

Integration can best be described as not about what it is, but what it isn’t. If I said the “market” yeah it be there. Free-trade, yep. But it it so broad a concept that it blurs and even denigrates what our Republic is founded upon. Our freedoms and protections from government may, and many times do not, be agreed upon by peoples of other cultures. Over arching government bureaucracy that regulates trade, aspects of our military, finance, labor, environment...
But what of this country? We are the capital producers. The US transfers wealth as a scheme to “bring economic prosperity to very poor populations” and shoring up underdeveloped nations at our citizens expense. When those poor countries gain seats of influence, they may counter US law, and legally change it through international (in this case regional) means.
