Elders of a global village

Calling itself The Elders, the Sudan delegation includes ex-US president Jimmy Carter and is led by South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu.

"We consider ourselves elders of a global village," Archbishop Tutu said.

"Due to the urgency of the conflict and the immense suffering in Darfur we've decided to come here first.

"This is our first mission as elders."

Aka Meddling Old Farts.

It's interesting how Democrat Carter doesn't seem to find any value in having ELECTED officials act on behalf of nations--instead, he and his pals just FEEL like meddling with politics, so they're GOING to, darn it! And since he acts like he has tea with God every weekend, who's going to tell him otherwise?

He has the morals of Jesse Jackson and the political skill of a garden slug, but fortunately no one takes him seriously.

Carter AND Tutu...and Darfur thought that they had problems up to now...

Carter hasn't met a situation that he hasn't bollixed up and Tutu is a yenta, besides being arse-numbingly dull.

It should be eaasy to stop the killing in Darfur. The Dems have paid an excellent example for them.

Just withdraw and the fighting stops, right? No American Troops there so that should make it all the much easier, right Democrats?

(Sarcasm, for those that can’t see it)

“We consider ourselves elders of a global village,” Archbishop Tutu said.

======++++++++++++++==============

I guess that would be the same village that it takes to raise a child.

Vullage elders? More like village idiots!
