The September 20 capture of an Iranian Qods Force - Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps commander in the northern Kurdish province of Sulimaniyah created a stir inside both Iran and Iraq. The Iranians swiftly closed the northern border, claiming the man was an Iranian trade delegation representative named Agha Farhadi on a sanctioned business trip. Multinational forces Iraq later identified the Iranian as Mahmud Farhadi. Today, Major General Kevin Bergner, the spokesman for Multinational Forces Iraq, disclosed that Farhadi was in fact the commander of one of the three Iranian commands inside Iraq.

This is great news. But I wonder how long we’ll allow Iran to wage war on us without a violent and decisive response on our part. This guy and his phoney government need a rocket up their collective butts sooner than later.

Can you imagine if the Russians were fighting in Iraq and Iran was sending in special forces and ammunitions against them, what the Russians would do?

Why don’t we stop this?

We don’t do this because we don’t want the people who hate us not to hate us. I can think of no political, economic or military reason that would argue against neutralizing Iran and Syria. I can think of a number reasons for taking those “governments” out.

I’ve read that the Russians to the contrary kick @ss on this. When some of their operatives were killed in Palestine years back they sent in a squad and hunted down the killers....I think they would bomb the h*ll of Iran.

What I dont get is why does the Iraqi government keep covering for this guy? “He is a dignitary from Iran with permission to be here”, etc. Hello??? Hes there commanding forces that are destabilizing your country, killing OUR troops and meddling in your affairs!! I realize Al-Maliki has a “cozy” relationship with Iran but as long as he continues sticking up for these thugs, were never going to win.
