All I have been able to find out is that the target was DEEP inside Syria which leads me to believe whatever AD systems Syria had were totally useless - another reason to rejoice - and bless the dear fingers so toil worn for thee, dear Mother Russia, that I do sincerely hope the Iranians think long and hard before they decide to give Israel an answer on October 12, and the Palestinians, and the Egyptians and the Saudis and on and on.
I just wish the area I think it is on Google Earth was better resolution. I wouldn’t expect the picture to be up to date for some time but it would be interesting if a crater could be identified when it is updated.
