Having Fred in the White House will be like having Davy Crockett back in Washington. That's a bit much.

Thompson never stopped embracing Republican values. The title makes it sound like he pulled a Mitt Romney.

More and more I like what I hear from Thompson.
So do I. At first, I was concerned he'd be yet another RINO in conservative's clothing. But since he's had the balls to talk about the anchor baby problem and about a short-term SS fix (both very controversial issues that the Dems will use against him), I'm getting a better impression of him. Now he's talking about the problems with the courts making new laws and giving away unentitled rights and that illegal immigration is a national security issue. Wow! He's saying everything I have - and long before he needs to and before any other candidate. Sounds like those are his principles and he'd stick to them, no matter what.

Maybe I should change from “the only men I’ve loved” to “the most important men in my life”! (which is more accurate) I have no brothers or sons, yet I love my nephew to pieces and he’s got a head full. :)
