We have been down this road before, yes, we have had setbacks, no one wins them all, and for the purposes of brevity concede Viet Nam was a military, political loss. Despite it all, America' s status as global world superpower is as preeminent as it could ever be.

Despite the problems America faces that are as daunting as anything in our history, despite the setbacks America will have to deal with, it will remain, emerge as victorious as ever.. That was, is my point.

The sky was purportedly falling during the Reagan era on the deficit problem until the economy surged and the deficits were painlessly eliminated. So too will the current imbalance correct itself.
