You want a doc to call time out while in the midst of an operation on you? Howz about while working on your kid? I've held traction on people until I honestly thought my arms were going to fall off...I didn't stop because I didn't want to take the chance of causing them any more damage. I didn't ask the patient for an "accomodation"..."Gee sir, I'm sorry that you can't walk anymore, but my hand was just too tired. Sooo-rrry."
I'm all for a little help in taking the test - 9 hours straight ain't easy - but this is ridiculous. This woman is gaming the system. And unfortunately, the system is going to let her get away with it.
Hopefully, she'll be in a hospital far, far away from me.
