Thanks, CedarDave, and yes, I hope other media do look into this. This should not be happening to our troops. The left has become so twisted in this country that they defend the “rights” of protestors over the health and well-being of the wounded and the pain of families at funerals. Bruce Wolf has written that their vigil is about “free speech,” as if that excuses their willingness to inflict mental distress on those brave wounded. Their heads are where the sun don’t shine.

Good work, Albion. I think Michelle Malkin would take this up in a heartbeat... it’s her “turf,” right? If not on her blog yet, I will e-mail.

I DESPISE unions... don’t get me started. Every anti-war, pro-illegals “march” here in Los Angeles includes heavy contingents of union members wearing the required t-shirt and carrying the factory-produced signs.

I will NOT take a union job, as when I worked at the UC as an “office professional,” I discovered the dues monies were going into PACs, Democrat campaigns, etc. Government agencies in CA are “closed shops.” In this state, it’s the S.E.I.U. that is raking in the money for the Commies.

The union reps do NOTHING for workplace safety, nor harassment grievances, etc., but only drive the hard bargain for higher wages, i.e., more revenue for union HQ.

And yes, to contradict a former poster, the union delegates their workplace thugs to mandate participation in political activities. I know this from my own experience.
