Good timing - I just got here looking for a thread on this. I think the good news is that after the Duke thing people are more likely to withhold judgment either way until we get some facts. As noted on this thread, Scott is rumored to be lacking in character, although the evidence is never made public and certainly doesn't consist of anything this serious.
Hopefully folks will not draw any conclusions until the facts are in.
