we can finally get back to facing the challenges we face here at home, the challenges you're grappling with every day."

Oh, yes. The soup lines, dust bowl, despair, and starvation that is America in 2007.

"You've got young men and women signing up to serve, willing to spill blood for America. How could they be treated less well than private contractors?"

Can private contractors be treated less well than private contractors?

Props to the Blackwater folks from someone who has had his rear protected by them.

>said private security contractors in Iraq are raising the risk for U.S. troops

Good Lord, what an idiot.

This guy is too stupid to know that he doesn’t know snot about what he is talking about.

People like this in charge would lead to the deaths of a whole lot of Americans.

Obama criticizes private Iraq guards

Hey Obama, why don't you go show everyone how it's done?

The founder of Blackwater has made it clear in interviews and editorials; their guards are paid by the ($550 - $650) day, they have no retirement, no health plan and they work only when needed and fired if they don’t perform. Furthermore, there are only about 1,000 of them in Iraq at any one time.

They do the routine, boring, VIP/convoy guard/escort work rather than combat patrols and assault, and when (30 so far) they get killed there are no angry letters written to congressmen or cynical crocodile tears from same.

They are a bargain.

I got a problem with the crook in Illinois who served up the straw man sweetheart real estate deal . If she needs to Hillary can call in a favor for a sham indictment and drop this guy to the ground faster than Bill’s pants .

This guy is so pathetic that he will exploit ANY and EVERY issue to prop his campaign up - even though it could cause great harm to the troops and their mission in Iraq.

Shame on him, shame on the Democrats, shame on anyone who will eventually be voting for him (in the primary or later).

Folks. Hillary has already gotten to this guy. She's bankrolling him 'til Super Tuesday, writing his speeches, and reserving his spot at State or the AG slot just so he'll stay on the porch until he has his revelation of defeat and declares his allegiance to the big dog - Hildebeast.

It’s difficult to believe this guy is a dumb as he comes across. Absolutely no ability to review the facts of a situation and then come up with a logical, workable plan to solve the problems revealed by the review.

The really scary part of it all is that you know full well the MSM is working overtime to make him look good. Imagine how badly he would fare if he didn’t get the red carpet treatment from the press!

The sad part of all this is that when he reveals his ignorance and his total lack of ability to handle a job as complicated as that of President he honestly believes those who call him on his lack of qualifications are doing so based on his race.

It’s a very eye-opening experience for a lot of youth these days when they leave the protective environment of academia and come face-to-face with the hard realities of the expectations of the work-a-day world.
