ATLANTIC CITY - The possible whereabouts of Atlantic City Mayor Bob Levy continue to make national news, including top billing Saturday on AOL's list of news stories, fueling additional media focus on his mysterious absence. Major news organizations such as Fox News and NPR also are planning coverage into next week.

Levy vanished from public life Sept. 26, the day he signed seven ordinances and city officials said he transferred power to city Business Administrator Domenic Cappella. Officials, his family and his lawyer have refused to say where he is, claiming privacy regulations that experts say do not apply.

Levy's disappearance came amid resignation rumors tied to an ongoing federal investigation into military decorations and whether the military allowed Levy to claim benefits to which he was otherwise unentitled.

Perhaps the feds are about to levitate a levee and let it drop on Levy as a levy.
Pardon my attempt to levy more levity onto Levy. :^)

Too bad...I was waiting for a Budd Dwyer moment.

I was expecting a Sopranos moment, maybe with an Atlantic City twist like his body riding on an unattended ferris wheel all night.

Are they trying to say he was a phony Democrat?

Levy is a NEW JERSEY politician. No other adjectives are necessary. Its like being a New Orleans or Baltimore politician. Everybody instantly understands the ramifications and subtleties involved.

Is that like being a reform Democrat from Chicago? That''s what gotten Barack Obama where he is today. And he's chasing a recovering Chicagoan who moved to New York. I wonder if she is in mourning because the Cubs were eliminated yesterday.

Aides say he’s in a hospital, but they don’t say why or where.

Probably in the same ‘hospital’ as Hsu and Winkle.

The Democratic Underground Railroad.
