I don't think these clowns realize how incredibly biased they really are.

Whatever do you mean? If you are right, then you can't possibly be biased. Bias is what the other person, like Fox News, is.

I hate it when CNN is droning on and on at doctors’ offices or hotel lobbies. My husband says to ignore it but I wonder if they would change the channel if asked.

What these guys are doing is rationalizing their bias. They are in a quandry. They are hoping this ‘trend’ will not continue.

NewsBusters is surprised by this?

Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing the MSM does shocks me anymore. They would rather report on a Princess' 10 year old death than good news from anything the U.S. did.

They need to wait till all sharp objects are removed from Harry Reid’s vicinity till they report good news from Iraq.

I wonder if they would change the channel if asked.

Interesting question. I may have to start inquiring.

There is only one thing we can do, and that is to NOT BUY THEIR S**T! I'm doing my part by not watching network TV, and by not buying or reading the Sacramento Bee, or any other paper, and also by not registering on their websites. I wish everyone would do the same.

They better rethink their view:

The US causalties dropped to 66 in September. Right now, it is 8:30 am in Baghdad on the 8th of October and so far we have lost 8 in October. This trends toward yet another big drop in October. Some very recent action may kick that a little higher in the next day, but still, it's quite dramatic from just a few months ago.

It’s surprising that Robin Wright didn't also cite natural deaths of Iraqi's, and that of dogs, cats and pet canaries.

The Leftist media really is invested in defeat, socialism, pacifism and frankly an all Democrat state where we just get along with thugs, dictators, the UN and even Islamofascism just for convenience, peace at any price, and a general well being feeling with multiculturalism. And our stupid public, so far, is buying it.

KURTZ: But let's say that the figures had shown that casualties were going up for U.S. soldiers and going up for Iraqi civilians. I think that would have made some front pages.

STARR: Oh, I think inevitably it would have. I mean, that's certainly -- that, by any definition, is news. Look, nobody more than a Pentagon correspondent would like to stop reporting the number of deaths, interviewing grieving families, talking to soldiers who have lost their arms and their legs in the war. But, is this really enduring progress?

Translation: The war only leads when Americans bleed.
