Remember Iraq was a client state of Russia before Desert Storm. I seem to recall they suddenly pulled some of their VIP’s just before our “surprise” air attacks leading into the liberation of Kuwait.
Yep... only it’s probably not us that’s going to surprise air attack Iran. It’s probably Israel.
