Why they let him off so lightly is a mystery to me. Did he threaten to spill the country’s secrets to the enemy or something? Was the potential damage to the country so great that he got a sweetheart deal, set up to clear him to be in Hillary’s administration? And surely whatever he took must have Hill and Bill completely beholden to him.

Bill Sammon just made a great comment.

Berger is not permitted to see secret documents until late 08. When she becomes the official candidate she will be allowed to see those documents, but Berger can not.

“Why they let him off so lightly is a mystery to me.”

Republicans in Washington think they’re obligated to treat their political foes with dignity. I don’t know why, since their political foes obviously don’t deserve it, and will screw a Republican the first chance they get.

The Republicans should do the country a favor, and treat thieves and liars like thieves and liars. They have nothing to lose.

"And surely whatever he took must have Hill and Bill completely beholden to him."

Particularly if that self serving p.o.s. did NOT destroy them as stated. Talk about a great bargaining chip!

Bush has not gone after the Clintons or Dems in any genuinely serious manner, thus emboldening them and causing them to attack Bush/Repubs with yet more viciousness.

Idiot Bush
