We might see more of this as Iran’s ruling class might want to lull the West’s citizens by showcasing the political freedom granted (for a time and a specific purpose).
If so, I’d expect to see more of these and the regime commenting on the “messiness of democracy”, etc.
And now.... A moment of silence in honor of the memory of those brave students.
The students identified at the anti-Ahmadinejad protest mentioned last year, were arrested and what has happened to them or will happen in the future is not a pleasant thought.

Been happening since forever. I remember stories of it happening in ancient Greece Egypt and China.
Hell, those kind of tactics happen tight here in the good ol U.S.A. as practiced by unions, Democrats and even the Clintons.
The sign held by the male student asks for the release from prison of three university students, and the female student's sign asks, "We have questions too, why just Columbia?"
