I’ll buy into the fact that I probably yawned over that story more than any other I’ve yawned over in some time at that point. Who freaking cares if he called him a macaca?
But it was a dumb move by Allen. Simpleton or pest would have been far more effective and far less easy for the media to use against him. Heaven knows Webb said far worse, but he gets a free pass being a liberal and all... *rolls eyes*
