Greenspan is being quoted now more than when he was heading the Fed. And a lot of it is Clinton-like, in that someone needs to tell him he isn’t in charge anymore. Maybe that’s why the two like each other

in all fairness, the deficit shrinking in year 7 of bush’s term after the huge increases over most of it misses the point.
The deficit exploded under bush, and spending did as well.
Greenspan also lied when he said he didn’t see the housing bubble coming.
