Robert Redford has defended Tom Cruise, insisting the Hollywood superstar's behaviour was perfectly normal on the set of their new movie.
-SNIP-
In an interview with Playboy magazine, Redford says: "Tom's a talented actor and I think people will respond positively to him (in Lions For Lambs)
"I didn't concern myself with the gossip - I never do - and I knew enough from what I've been through to judge the man based on what I experience firsthand. And I didn't see any behaviour on the film that troubled me. Really."

Seriously though, you don’t wear a sweater like that when you have wrinkles like his.

I remember reading a long time ago that he doesn’t believe in plastic surgery

I can't decide if he's wearing a reddish JFK wig, or not.

Who the hell is going to vouch for Redford’s credibility?
Never mind — no one cares...

What constitutes normal in Hollyweird rarely applies outside LA. Perhaps jumping on couches, expounding on mental health without any training (except direction from L. Ron Hubbard), etc. ARE normal in Hollywood. Remember these people’s raison d’etre (sp?) is to give life to other people’s words. I sometimes wonder if they actually ever have any original thoughts.

It behooves us to remind everyone that not only is Tom Cruise certifiably sane, he is also undeniably heterosexual.
That is all.

He has not aged well, may be his liberal leanings over a lot of years. BEWARE!

I guess having an evilcrat demon inside you for years will do that to your face. Butch Cassidy and the Road Rash Kid.

What will Robert Redford want to say to the public next? Maybe Mr. Redford might have a hole in his sock he needs us to know about? Or that third shelf in his fridge? We all want to know what’s there. I wonder what other exciting things he has to tell us about absolutely nothing.

Wow, I just saw him in The Natural the other night from 1984. And back then he was criticized for looking too old for the role. He was 47 back then!

Notice the specifics...
“And I didn’t see any behaviour on the film that troubled me. Really.”
He didn’t notice anything on the film.... what he doesnt comment on is behavior that isn’t on the film...

“Redford’s on the right?”
I think so. It looks like Redford’s hair. But the turtleneck is a dead giveaway.
To: Loyalist
“he is also undeniably heterosexual.”
How do you draw that conclusion? Every time a rumor erupts that he’s not, he marries someone else. It’s a tactic right out of Michael Jackson’s publicist’s playbook.
