That pic of the President checking on the welfare of the fallen honor guard...no matter what might you say about the man, he cares about others.
Would other Presidents have cared about the “little people”?

It was a bit scary for a while I heard this electrical crackling sound in the kitchen. What had happened was I had flooded the bathroom earlier and water had come through the floorboards and then several hours later it had collected in the fluorescent tube fitting and was arching one of the contacts.
We rang a neighbour who came over and suggested pulling the MCB for the lighting circuit downstairs, which we did and the crackling stopped. My friend Phil then arrived who I had also called at the same time. He took the fluorescent fitting apart and drained the water and then fitted a temporary light fitting with a normal bulb until the other one has dried and then he will refit the fluorescent fitment.

Have to post this...my peeps yah know...
LEIF ERIKSON DISCOVERS A NEW WORLD.
The discovery of America by Norsemen about the year 1000, is so well authenticated as to be no longer a matter of mere tradition, but to whom the honor is due is less easy to prove by the historical sagas. The claim set up in favor of Bjarne Herjulfson is well substantiated, but if the discovery be credited to Bjarne, to Leif Erikson belongs the fame of having founded the first settlement in the New World.

He is a compassionate caring man who genuinely cares about people and this is shown in his comforting those who have lost loved ones and his interaction with children.

It was a bit unnerving for a while but the neighbour and Phil quickly put my mind to rest and assured me and dad that it was safe.
