Provo, UT U.S. Senator Harry Reid of Nevada made the following remarks congratulating Specialist Heyt T. Seeker of Las Vegas for being recognized with the Armys Top Soldier award.
I congratulate, Specialist Seeker, for being named the Armys Top Soldier, said Reid. While I am proud of all of our men and women in uniform, Specialist Seeker's exemplary service honors the country and honors Nevada.
Specialist Seeker was selected as the best of 26 competitors after a fierce battery of physical and mental tests. The results were based on Specialist Seekers performance in simulated urban combat drills, battle drills, physical fitness tests, and written examinations.

I wonder if Seeker would even shake Reid’s hand, if ever given the opportunity?

While I am proud of all of our men and women in uniform...
Then why did you undermine their successes and say the war is lost? Why did you refuse to condemn MoveOn's slam against Petraeus?

Quoth Senator Reid, “I’m proud of this loser.”
“And if he pays attention in school, and does his homework, and makes an effort to be smart, uh, he, he can do well. If you dont, you get stuck in Iraq,” Senator Kerry added.

You'd probably have to go back to the bombing of the Samarra mosque.

Re “I wonder if Seeker would even shake Reid’s hand, if ever given the opportunity?”
Doubt it! He’d be too busy taking Reid’s knife out of his back, while keeping an eye on his other hand.
I have more respect for a Nevada desert rattler than for Reid. In fact, I have more respect for a desert rat’s crap than for Reid.
How can a state that is the subject of CSI, with Marge “Hot Red Head” Helgenberge, product such a putz as Reid?

I've been thinking the same thing. Aside from the picture on his website and this following photo, he never smiles.
Bush is signing the Patriot Act in this picture. Reid appears to be content with it there, but a few years later he's trying to kill it. Flip-flopper...
