Al-Qaeda trying to boost efforts in US

AL-QAEDA remains the "most serious and dangerous" terrorism threat to the US and is likely to intensify efforts to place operatives inside the US, a new White House report said today.

“Although we have discovered only a handful of individuals in the US with ties to al-Qaeda senior leadership, the group likely will intensify its efforts to place operatives here in the homeland,” the National Strategy for Homeland Security report said.

“We also must never lose sight of al-Qaeda's persistent desire for weapons of mass destruction, as the group continues to try to acquire and use chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear material,” it said.

The report said that al-Qaeda has protected its top leadership, replenished operational lieutenants, and “regenerated a safe haven” in Pakistan's tribal areas.

The report updated the White House national homeland security strategy issued in July 2002.

Pull out all the stops. Hunt them down. Kill them dead. Drop them in Harry Reid’s office.

Seems like a good idea, however … start from the top and go down … get rid of Reid first.

“We also must never lose sight of al-Qaeda’s persistent desire for weapons of mass destruction”

This country is strewn with technology that can serve as WMD, if by that you mean devices and community circumstances which can be exploited to kill thousands of people. Flying large passenger aircraft into buildings housing tens of thousands of people is far from the only way to accomplish this. For some additional discussion about the vulnerability of cultures with economies based on a highly developed division of labor, see

I believe the cells are already here.

They are planning a #3 attack between 2010 and 2013. They told journalists this in interviews. We know one target is obvious, and the scope is intended to be bigger,as in splitting the atom. We need to both stop them and prepare contingencies.

A handful??? There are 50 in the Senate and 232 in the House, I wouldn't call that a handful. And that's just the elected Members, if we were to count staffers....

BTTT.

We must stop these folks. Infiltrate their mosques, organizations, and culture. If the ACLU objects, throw RICO at them.

These worshipers of a false god are as stupid as bricks.

If they hit here again it will really help cement the good folks of the U.S. attitude towards these murdering bastards.
Like you say, kill em all.
