Al Gore's Fans Launch 2008 Draft Pitch Oct 10 09:59 AM US/Eastern The Associated Press (AP) - WASHINGTON Draftgore.com, which describes itself as a group of grass-roots Democrats, underwrote a full-page open letter to Al Gore in Wednesday's New York Times, imploring the former vice president to enter the presidential campaign.

The ad, which says 136,000 people have signed Draftgore's online petition, was published two days before this year's Nobel Peace Prize is expected to be announced. Gore has been nominated for the prize because of his campaign to bring attention to global warming.

Although Gore has said he has no intention of becoming a presidential candidate, several groups around the country are trying to persuade him to enter the race.

"America and the Earth need a hero right now—someone who will transcend politics as usual and bring real hope to our country and to the world," Draftgore's letter said. "Please rise to this challenge, or you and millions of us will live forever wondering what might have been."

Hopefully he runs as a green candidate or some such idiocy that moonbats would love.

I suspect he enjoys being a global climate change cult leader more. It is certainly far more profitable for him.

That is true, but I think deep down, algore still wants to be POTUS. It is his entitlement, doncha know. (You have to admit that it would be great to watch algore and Her Heinous go at it!)

Several weeks ago a large sign was erected in front of the Gore Nashville home with a single word in large letters- “Please”. Apparently that didn’t get enough press- hence, the ad.

My Husband is a huge college football fan (Roll TIDE ROLL!) and I hear him talk about the importance of a teams depth chart.

After watching the debate yesterday I see alot of depth on the Republican team. If I were a moonbat, I'd be hoping to field another candidate too!

LOL! You know your candidate sucks when Algore starts looking like an attractive alternative.

Is there any credit to the news that Al Gore, after getting his Nobel, will become Obama’s Vice President?
By taking a closer look at this scenario it makes great great sense, since Al could not win the top spot on his own but has considerable skills and experience as a Vice.

Based on my observations of the political talk on my alumni blog, Hillary's popularity is a mirage. That's not to say they won't vote for her if she's the Dem nominee, but they'll do it with clothespins firmly attached to their noses.

Just my opinion, but if Gore decides to run, it will alter the political landscape in the same manner that D-Day altered the course of WWII.

Seriously, I hope he does. After all the pablum amid Hillary's coronation, our country needs a political revolution. Rudy, Mitt, and Fred are making the Republican nomination interesting and compelling.

And if he enters the race, he would have to defend his GW bull in a debate.

Put that in your Dingall and Norwood it.

I've been saying this for years.

Although it may be a little too late now, I had thought that all the Soros/Hollyweird money that's going to the 'Beast, the Empty Suit, and the Silky Pony now would immediately shift to Algore.

It would sure make things interesting, as I don't think that Algore has anywhere near the negatives with potential swing voters as Her Thighness.

Gore isn’t going to run....
He’s already negotiating the “Consultation Fee” for his endorsement of Hillary.

“that all the Soros/Hollyweird money that’s going to the ‘Beast, the Empty Suit, and the Silky Pony now would immediately shift to Algore.”

I don’t think so...

This has been salivated over by the Democrat Apparatchik Wonks in Washington as “The Big Score” for years now, and millions have been spent to prepare for the TONS of cash they are going to skim from the Hillary Machine, win or lose...

Too much money is at stake for them to switch horses at this point.

You don’t REALLY think these Democrats pay for thier Waterfront mansions, limos, and private jets on Gub’ment and “non-profit” salaries, do you?
