When a woman or teenage girl is in the middle of the crisis of an unplanned pregnancy, the pictures will not be a deterant. Their thought process is so distorted...it is like the flight impulse....they can only focus on getting past the issue, out of the problem situation, and far away from the stresses and trouble it has caused. They often are not thinking clear enough to even completely comprehend the message of the gory picture.

Don't take this wrong.I am not putting down Project Rescue. When you look at the psychology part of it....by the time they are driving into the parking lot of planned parenthood, they are no longer considering if this is a life or not. They are solely focused on their own survival.

The sonogram will help them refocus. Somehow the positive message of life there, in that setting, can get through the thick curtain of self-preservation with some of them! The positive message gets through.

That's why I support the placing of 4D sonography.

Prove it.

I find the images incredibly repuslive and am somewhat concerned that viewing them enough might desensitize me. But this isn't about my reaction to them or other activists reaction to them.

Like I said, if waving celery sticks at them *worked*....
