I am a non smoker but I oppose smoking bans in general, but in bars in particulars. That said, smoking is a stupid and unhealthy habit and it’s not wrong to charge more for those who will likely cost more to insure.
Now, with that said, I think that homosexual males should be required substantially more. Those who participate in high risk recreational activities should also pay more.
If they are going to charge for ‘risk’, all risks should be so charged.
The entire goal of insurance is to insure the healthy, those that may never be diseased, and the those that may become diseased.....
The slippery slope begins by the slow segregation and demonetization of bad habits and will eventually envelop those that have a predisposition (family history) of disease.
LOL! Unfortunately, pointing out such facts can be risky, as in getting you fired for making a protected class of people feel uncomfortable.

That's the point of covering large pools of people as it spreads the risk.
This covering by the risk is just plain stupid. Eventually we'll all be walking around in giant body condoms, if we leave the house at all, to make sure we don't have to pay any "surcharges".
