No one is saying Fred is perfect, but Ann (and some of you) have to face the fact that Rudy is simply not electable. He is pro-abortion and pro-gun-control.
Hillary will destroy him because...
1) Left-wingers will vote for Hillary.
2) Middle America will split about 50-50 between the two.
3) Right wingers will either vote for a 3rd party candidate or will fail to show up in numbers sufficient to defeat Hillary.
IMO, hard-core conservatives will simply refuse en mass to vote for liberal Rudy.
Fred, on the other hand has a fighting chance without regard to a stupid vote or two he may have made.
You are wrong. Rudy is electable. His pro-abortion, pro-gun stance will not hurt him as much as you think. Now, I know he is poison to most on Free Republic. If he comes out of primaries as the nominee... he could very well be president. I like Rudy... might not agree with him, but I like him. I would vote for him.
