Good question ~ I doubt it. He grew up down the street from a non-Mormon group called General Assembly and the Church of the First Born. Many of their members "infiltrate" local Mormon stakes for a variety of misdeeds.

I would imagine Harry Reid knows all about it.

Mitt really should take Reid to task on this. It would be a good opportunity for Mitt to address some of the anti-Mormonism and make the case for a common cause between Mormons and the older Christian denominations. And other Republicans aren’t in as good a position to address it except for Orrin Hatch.

I think he is. His speech the other day at BYU (I have no idea why they let Reid speak there. Grrr....) demonstrated that to me.

While Mormon theology is not Christian, I can’t imagine why BYU would invite Reid to speak at BYU. Reid is neither Christian, nor are his personal morals consistent with what the LDS chriuch proclaims.

IMHO Harry Reid represents Mormonism like he represents Patriotic America, if you get my drift.
