The Conservative Republicans have refused to fight for the cause so now we’re stuck with a list of candidates that makes Conservatives cringe. They tried to be friends to the MSM instead of calling them out for the terrorist supporting, socialist they are. At the last debate they should have ripped on Chrissy and call him out for the partisan hack he is.

Roger Ailes is busy getting the wrinkles ironed out at the new Fox Business Network. While he’s missing in action somebody in NY liberal Hell has taken control of Fox News.

They just put out a headline that claimed Ann Coulter said ‘Jews Need Perfecting’ when she did not say that. She said ‘Christians consider themselves perfected Jews’. It’s her opinion but it is not a directive to go out and hammer Jews for not being perfect.

Something smells at Fox and that includes O’Reilly.

It's going to be very difficult to overcome the patronizer voters.....

Not to mention the Gimmees

"Gimmee's" are the bulk of their voters.

With the number of illegals that will vote in '08, the number of "conditional ballots" from supposed absentee voters (the cartons of votes that Acorn sends in), plus the usual 105% of Registered Voters in places like Philadelphia, it is difficult for even the Republican who ACTUALLY wins the vote count (and waits for three or four lawsuits to be adjudicated) to win, with this system.

Without true Photo Voter ID, the Democrats continue to show much larger numbers of votes than real eligible voters would EVER show up in their favor.

Thinking someone will be president is different from wanting someone to be president. Yes, I fear she will be president, but, there is not a chance in hell, barring Paul is her opponent, that I will vote for her.

Something smells at Fox and that includes O’Reilly.

Well, last night Bill's top two segments were on the Dems being pathetically soft on terror. After that, he blasted Brian De Palma's new film against our troops. And Fox & Friends (silliness aside) have been doing loads of anti-Hillary segments.

On the Factor:

Talking Points Memo
President John Edwards?

"John Edwards has no chance to become president because he's simply too far left for most Americans, but the positions he holds are now acceptable to millions of voters and the mainstream media. Let's run them down: Edwards opposed a Senate bill that would officially label Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization; he would shut down Guantanamo, move the captured terrorists to American prisons, and give them civilian attorneys paid for by you and me; Edwards would stop surveillance of overseas calls to suspected terrorists without a warrant; he would quickly pull out of Iraq, leaving Iran to dominate that country. Talking Points believes most Americans reject that foolishness, and it has become a problem for both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. The Democratic Party can easily be branded as 'soft on terrorism' because it's tough to make distinctions in this area. Again, no way Edwards will ever win the election - Kid Rock has a better chance. But just the fact that his misguided view of the world is so attractive to the left media and others is disturbing, to say the least."

Top Story
The politics of terrorism

To follow up on Democrats and terror, The Factor welcomed two political observers. Time magazine's Mark Halpern disputed the notion that Edwards is out of the running. "I think you're right that he is putting out views that tens of millions of Americans believe in, but I don't think you're right that he has no chance of getting elected. Most people think the balance between civil liberties and national security hasn't been struck the right way." Democratic strategist Liz Chadderdon insisted that John Edwards is sending just the right message. "The Bush-Cheney administration has made this country less safe by forging into a war that has done nothing but create more terrorists. I don't want to see more young men and women dying for reasons we can't explain." But The Factor argued that Americans will not elect anyone perceived as soft on terror. "If a candidate says we're a torture nation and we brought a lot of terrorism on ourselves, do you really believe that candidate is going to win?"

Absent a third-party challenge from the right — probable only if the Republicans select Giuliani as their nominee — there is no way that Hillary is going to be POTUS.

The MSM conditioning process on behalf of the Clinton campaign. They are trying to overcome her high negatives. It won’t work.

This question isn’t do they want Hillary as Pres., but do they think their fellow Americans are dumb enough to vote for her. Take the pessimists out, and all you have are the wishfull thinkers that want her ellected. Probably about 33%.

My guess is Fred or Rudy will garner about 60% of the actual vote.

Hillary was just endorsed by V.Fox, former president of Mexico, on the Wolf Blitzer show. Whoever said that the hispanics would vote Republican? With Fox and Yzaguirre in her corner, she will take all the hispanic vote.

And what then when he smeared and lied about Free Republic being an extreme right wing hate site that advocates assassinating HRC?

The fact is Fox News finds it convenient on occasion to pander to the left and appease them by slamming the right, whether or not deserved doesn’t matter. O’Reilly is not your friend.

His way of grabbing ratings is to polarize and slam one end or the other. He suckered you in last night. He suckered leftists with his mealy mouthing to Kristin of FR.

He’s playing you and many others. He wants to get your adrenalin rushing as he pounds the other side so as to give you a vicarious thrill. You will sit on the edge of your seat saying “Get ‘em O’Reilly!”. And that is his schtick, turn people against each other. But his polarizing strategy is having diminishing returns. His ratings are declining.

Good points but Rudy will never get near 60%.

FDT will carry 30% comprising conservative and republican base voters and then grab 20% in swing voters. To do that he needs to take 58% of the 35% that comprise swing voters. He will also take 6% in Reagan democrats to give him an overall 56% in his first term election. If he does well in his first term, he will have a Reagan landslide in 2012 approaching 70% of the popular vote.

The Rats should have run Al Gore against Bush the second time around. I do suspect the reason they didn't was because they annointed Hillary for 2008 and Al Gore might have lasted two terms.

It's just a thought that has been nagging at me ..

It may be BS, but it won’t be unless conservatives can get the GOP back to a winning candidate. Rudy in the race is total destruction.

What is causing the most trouble in this party now? Rudy.

Hillary must love him.

If the Republicans do something stupid--like nominating a liberal (slapping its base in the face) like Rudy--I believe it too.

The best way to help elect Hillary--is to SPLIT and DIVIDE the Party WIDE-OPEN, while demoralizing the base. No one does that better than a liberal like Rudy.

What people think now is irrelevant. What people who vote think early next November is what counts.
