Senate Republicans are looking to subpoena records held by Gov. Spitzer and his 82-year-old mega-millionaire father, Bernard, dealing with a controversial $5M loan that helped Spitzer get elected AG in 1998.....a recent profile of Spitzer in New York magazine suggested the governor broke state election law in obtaining a loan to bankroll his first winning campaign.......that may have been a willful effort by Spitzer and his father to circumvent campaign-contribution limits and then conceal their actions . . . "I didn't realize how necessary it was to be transparent about every personal financial transaction," Spitzer was quoted in the magazine article.

Not until he'd actually taken office did Spitzer admit that Dennis Vacco had been correct, after all. In fact, it turned out Spitzer, despite earlier denials, had done the exact same thing during his unsuccessful 1994 run for AG.
NOTE WELL: Now how did the loving Spitzer family convert all that money to sonny's election? The altruistic Spitzer family runs a "do-good foundation." The IRS has noted that some tax-exempt foundations are prime money laundering vehicles that use phony accounting and fake line items like "LEGAL, CONSULTING AND ADMIN FEES" that are tax evasion schemes. Some tax-exempt foundations also put ghost employees on the payroll to skim off monies.
NOTE WELL: One of the biggest tax-exempt scams is donations to similar organizations (these are nothing more than insider deals to skim off money---the donee takes a cut of the "donation" and launders the rest in an offshore bank for the donor's later use).

Will anyone EVER nail Spitzer??? Doubt it.....he’s as slimy as they come.
The campaign finance laws were never intended to impede the campaigns of Democrats.
boy what part of these scenarios don’t conservatives get-I’ll say it one more time “Campaign finance laws apply only to Republicans”. There is never equal enforcement of campaign finance laws.
“Campaign finance laws apply only to Republicans
Yeah..but in the end, this sort of $%ap goes on about as as long as “we the people” decide to let it...
If true, the real story here will be that a Republican finally grew enough spine to investigate a corrupt Democrat. We all know that another corrupt Democrat is not news at all.
campaign fruad is all that dems have

The Attorney General did not know the law???? Oh, yep... That sounds like a good defense.
No question the guy is a slimeball-—but even slimes get stuck in a pile of crap.
Right now, Spitler’s in a pile of deep doo doo.
ping
We’ll just wait to see if there are ANY law abiding people left in govt. to nail him.....I doubt it.
Repbulican are gutless. And I’m not sure whether most of them are either 1) not all that committed to the cause of honest in government, or 2) too terrified that the media won’t like them, give them negative coverage and thereby influence their re-election bids.
What’s the statute of limitations on this violation?
I think it’s number two.
Apparently hasn’t been reached-—IF there is one.
For Eliot the law is only for everyone else, he and illegal aliens are exempt.
Remind me again what put Martha Stewart in jail?
Eliot’s finding out that what goes around comes around.

All Freepers need to call the IRS on the Frost family- including the Grandfather for their suspicious activity regarding the donation of the grandfather to the school that the grandkids attend “on tuition aid”.
The entire story of the Frost family finances is a big red flag for me, as I have been a bllkkeeper for over 35 years and just don’t see how the math works.
He owns far too much and drives too nice a vehicle for the allegedly $45,000 annual income for my training and experience.
bllkkeeper”
bookkeeper!!!
Wake up, woman!!! It is still too dark out.....
