I agree with you about the P97. It and it’s 9mm counterpart the P95 are Rugers best centerfire autos (IMO). Ruger triggers have always been a crapshoot.
The P97 is too bulky carry discreetly. The P345 is MUCH smaller and lighter. The grip is ergonomic and it is accurate and reliable. The trigger can be worked on.
