Entercom probes online vandalism

Executives at the Entercom-owned WRKO (680 AM) are now looking into whether one of their employees altered former morning-drive host Scott Allen Millers Wikipedia biography, changing it to say he was heavy into Satan worship and enjoys sex with wild pigs.
On Monday afternoon, a spokesman for the station told me they werent investigating the vandalism and Wolfe never e-mailed me back. My story on Millers maligned entry ran Tuesday. Several blogs also wrote about the vandalism over the weekend.
On Tuesday, Miller sent an e-mail to WRKO programming director Jason Wolfe and Entercom Vice President Julie Kahn reminding them that they had all signed a non-disparagement agreement when he left the station and that he wanted a public apology.
The stations IT manager confirmed to Miller that the person who altered his entry did it from an Entercom computer.
In an e-mail sent to Miller on Tuesday, Wolfe said he and Kahn were looking into it and they had just learned of it late Monday afternoon.
Wolfe wrote: We understand youre upset about what was written and we absolutely do not condone it. We would never condone comments like that about any employee, present or past. We have not, and will not, violate our nondisparagement obligations to you and we expect that you will not violate yours to us.
Im glad theyre looking into it, Miller said today. They should look into it and they should apologize.
Thinking about it, didn't one of the MA congresscritters have his staff make changes to Wikipedia?
Knowing WRKO likes hiring inept former gub'mint types, did they hire any former congo staff people recently?
