I think if anything the polling data shows that the race is still variable. It will be interesting to see if McCain can have a resurgence. I know we went to a Cantor sponsored Republican Roundup here in VA on Saturday and Thompson’s booth which was shared with Rudy and McCain had nothing left midway through the event. Everything was gone, signs, stickers and people were still flocking to it to sign the register. Rudy did the worst of the bunch. I suppose maybe they just brought more stuff but it didn’t look that way. Thompson is going to do well in VA.
FWIW, I think McCain will run a strong second here in NH.
