After some thinking on the topic this last week, I believe the pertinent issue in the Coulter contention is reconciliation.

God is never reconciliated to man, rather man must be reconciled to God for spiritual fellowship to be possible.

Ephesians Chapter 2 is really some of the best pertinent guidance I’ve found in resolving the misunderstood contention between Judaism and Christianity.

Man is reconciled to God through the work of Christ on the Cross.

It is also interesting that the Greek vocabulary used in describing reconciliation also describes the actions of removing a barrier or enmity between God and Man, or actually the only true belief system of peace between God and man.

“Man is reconciled to God through the work of Christ on the Cross.”

Man is reconciled to G-d, by loving him and blessing His Name, and refraning from profanation. How does one do that? By following His Law.

God is never reconciliated to man, rather man must be reconciled to God for spiritual fellowship to be possible.

Exactly correct.

God is propitiated, so that reconciliation is now possible.
