I guess I’m culturally deprived, or maybe just lucky, but I’ve never seen even a single episode of that show, don’t even know what network it runs on.
Well you aren’t missing much let me tell you.. if you want to see 4 women acting and saying saying what 4 gay men would say to each other over a lunch .... this is the show for you.
It was originally made and broadcast on HBO... now its being aired in rerun syndication.
It got a ton of press during its first run because basically that press pretty much lives in LA or NYC/Manhattan, which is where the show is set (Manhattan), and it pretty much pandered to their world view. Its not the worst show ever made, but frankly if after watching this show for 5 minutes can’t tell why each of these female characters couldn’t find a date, or at least a date with a sane respectable guy, then you are one cracked individual. In the end of course they all wind up in love.. but other than the one character, “Charlotte” who was probably the most normal of them lot, I can’t imagine not ditching any of these women long befor the end of a first date... and I’ve never ditched a date no matter how horrible it was in my life.
