"resting"? See, that is a problem considering he's done damn little heavy lifting so far. If he can't take the pace of the election process then he will collapse in month six as POTUS.

And since when, as President, do you get to 'rest up for another fight'? It's a demanding job that requires 24/7 attention. People are going to be asking if he's up the the challenge.
If he IS serious about becoming President, he needs to get in there and mix it up aggressively. First impressions are lasting, and a lot of people are perceiving Fred as a less-than-serious candidate.
