How Many Lawyers Does It Take To Find A Captured GI?
Captain's Quarters ^ | October 15, 2007 | Ed Morrissey

"The entire notion that lawyers had to review a statute before military intelligence could pursue the captors of an American soldier in a theater of war is absurd and embarrassing."

"It should take zero lawyers to chase down captors of American soldiers abroad in a theater of war, and any laws that add to that total should be immediately stricken from the record by Congress."

During the POTUS debates, the question that is always asked is in regards to nukes i.e.: "Would you torture if you knew a nuke strike was immanent."

I would like to see them ask the question: "Would you use torture to help recapture a Soldier taken by Al-Queda?"

Not holding my breath.

Oops.

That’s “imminent” vs. “immanent”

IMO, Liberals have those soldiers’ blood on their hands. This issue needs to be front and center with the American people. When is the GOP going to find their gonads and tell the American people the stark truth about these Liberal traitors. I would have this out on billboards all over America so the American people can be told the truth on their way to and from work every day. Pelosi empty words “we support the troops.” Makes me want to gag.

How about the Turkish Genocide resolution that Pelosi has introduced. Ralph Peters claims convincingly that this is a back door ploy to goad Turkey into cutting off support lanes to our troops in Iraq just like when they didn’t let the military use the Northern route during the second Iraq war.

Pray that the Republicans in Congress find their gonads and stand up before both houses and tell the American people what traitors DC Liberals are. Exposure, exposure, exposure is the key to unmasking these traitors. All veterans and all American families with anyone in the military need to rise up and ask that the American people vote these traitors out of office.

It would appear that we would have more of this if Romney were elected.

I wanted to bump this thread -— it is important. The lawyers in the JAG are educated in our very liberal colleges & I think that this poses a great problem to all of our soldiers. Think Haditha & all other prosecutions that have went on of our soldiers. This does not bode well for any war we need to wage.

Nice attempt at a thread hijacking.

You must be proud.
