Well unfortunately Hunter and Tancredo have zero chance of winning. So CFR aside , we need to take into consideration all of the periphery issues that will come with a Conservative in the W.H. Judges , gun rights, States Rights , pro-life, low taxes , strong defense .....

Thompson is our only hope and we need your help ....

I am not one who thinks that Fred Thompson does not have problems. He voted for McCain/Feingold and voted aginst removing Bill Clinton from office. These two acts make me wary of Fred Thompson. Having said that, I know that both Giuliani and Romney are liberals so I could never vote for either of them. John McCain sponsored McCain/Feingold and helped lead the gang of 14 which effectively ended hopes of the Republican Senate using the so called nuclear option to clear judicial nominations from the threat of filibuster. I cannot support McCain as a result.

Fred Thompson has a good conservative voting record and a pleasant personality. He seems to understand the need to excite the base and to lead moderates into the conservative fold through persuasion. I can vote for Thompson and hope that I will have the opportunity to do so in November of 2008.

That propaganda is what the MSM would have us believe. If we become convinced that Hunter has no chance it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.

I am running for to be a delegate to my state convention, and I believe that I owe it to my country and myself to vote my for the candidate who most closely matches my beliefs. If everyone does that, the "Know-it-all" pundents at the MSM may well be surprised that our second tier candidate wins the primary.

I'm a realist enough to know that I may not always get my first choice, but I never will if I don't try. I can always vote for my second choice (Thompson) on the second and subsequent rounds if it becomes necessary.
