Somebody figured out that wolf hybrids don’t make the best pets after all ... but they couldn’t bear to put the beast(s) down, and thus they left them out in the woods someplace.

I wouldn't be too surprised. Wolf hybrids are the pit bulls of the Northeast Kingdom. Quite a lot of them up that way, not necessarily belonging to the most responsible of individuals.

Actually, wolves and hybrids make great pets if your neighbors can overlook your wolf eating their animals.

It's a bad idea... I got pressured into adopting a 7/8 timberwolf. She was the coolest dog ever.. until she started hunting. If you don't have a fool-proof containment system, don't take a wolf.

We had a jerk release 14 pairs of mating wolf hybrids not five miles from my home last year as the result of a domestic dispute (eyes rolling).

Now, around midnight, we hear a large pack of some type howling for about two minutes.....then again just before ‘false dawn’ around 4:30 AM.

My neighbors and I are all carrying rifles on the ATV’s these days as a direct result. Coyotes, wolf hybreds, whatever, gets shot on sight now.
