Except that Kucinich is for big spending - while Ron Paul is for smaller government. Kucinich is for high taxes, Ron Paul wants to abolish the income tax. Kucinich is for socialized medicine; Ron Paul is for free enterprise and private medicine. Kucinich is for abortion. Ron Paul is pro-life. Kucinich is pro-gay "rights"; Ron Paul is pro-family. If that makes Ron Paul a "kook," then you really are a liberal.
That being said, anyone who doesn't see he is a lightweight in understanding the threats that face us with the war against Islamists, is very close to having his head stuck very far up somewhere very dark.
Any conservative or libertarian should know better than to favor RP's positions on this war.
