So, not only does Mr. Reid manage to demonize Evangelicals but manages to insult and defame his own religion in the process. The whole "members are obedient...followers" bit is typical of the Left. Anyone who has strong, traditional beliefs is a weak minded moron. Par for the course for a Liberal but then he then goes on to say that the leadership of the church is misleading the membership. This man is an elitist, bigoted snob of the first order and, in my opinion, should be excommunicated if he hasn't already. Not only does he condescend to Evangelicals and his own church but does so at a church owned and operated facility. He is no Mormon and he is certainly no Christian. Unbelievable!

I would love to hear how those parishioners who listened to him, felt about those things he told them they should move on from. Do THEY think they should follow this wolf, like good little sheep?
Reed is a disgrace to America, a disgrace to Mormons, a disgrace to civilized human beings everywhere!

So now it’s the role of the Senate to both intimidate opposition media and judge the “Christianity” of opposition religious sects? Even as an atheist I find that offensive. McCarthy’s got nothing on Harry Reid.

ROTFLMAO! I just finished listening to an audiobook of “If Democrats Had Any Brains They’d Be Republicans” and I have to tell you...
Ann Coulter is RIGHT ON THE MONEY with these people...her discussion of the Left’s view of “The Religious Right” would be fantasically funny if her descriptions of those views were not so spot-on.

members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints need to worry less about abortion and gay marriage and more about health care, global warming, education and jobs.So hypocritical. Libs often like to attack evangelicals and conservative Catholics for getting involved with politics (e.g. fighting abortion), but they're perfectly happy with mainstream churches who work to promote socialism.

This is Reid’s jihad on the Evangelicals...

This man is an elitist, bigoted snob of the first order and, in my opinion, should be excommunicated if he hasn't already. IIRC the CoJCoLDS would excommunicate him if he promoted abortion.
He does not.
I find it odd that he thinks his church leadership only gets politically involved in issues{homosexuality & abortion } that assault the core issue of their faith - family.
He is no Mormon and he is certainly no Christian.
I assume you are talking about his behavior and not his beliefs? I do believe he was criticizing antiChristian behavior.

We have a country that needs to do something about health care. Global warming is here. We have a president who doesn't know how to pronounce the words. These words reek of desperation. This fool has lost his mind.

The bible is serious when it says to beware calling good to be evil and evil to be good.
For instance, Jesus said that the ONLY unforgiveable sin was blasphemy of the holy spirit. This was right after some pharisees accused him of doing miracles by the power of Satan. In other words, that Jesus was evil. I don’t think God tolerates such behavior for long.

Since he can’t correctly define a “Christian,” a little hard to accept his criticism. If, by Christian, he means what you do, he is WAAAAAAAAAY off base!
