My spouse is from Webb City. Anyone thinking of Branson, don’t make the mistake we made—driving an underpowered, manual transmission van.
By end of day my left leg and right arm were worn out from all the `rowing’.
I would love to drive the Ozarks with a manual tranny, so long as the vehicle was overpowered. As for Branson, I wouldn’t take anything with a manual there. Too many intersections on steep hills. Those hills make it a great place to run, however. One more thing. Check out the fountains at Branson Landing. One of the few free things in the whole town, and well worth the time.
