"After her tour of the church, she met with civic leaders and local security chiefs, who told her about the daily difficulties of life under Israeli occupation.

Bethlehem, just south of Jerusalem, is lined on two sides by Israel's West Bank separation barrier, along some stretches a towering wall of cement blocks. Town residents need difficult-to-obtain permits to cross through a wall terminal into Jerusalem, and long lines often form during rush hour."

Long lines during rush hour is a hardship? Try commuting at rush hour anywhere in metropolitan USA. Too bad...if your suicide bomber pals would knock it off, there wouldn't need to be a wall.

By the way, wasn't this the church that Palestinians stormed a couple of years ago and shot up the place?

Yes and took up residence there and used it as a toilet that took weeks to disinfect.

It’s funny that they refer to life under Israeli “occupation.” When Jesus was born, the area was occupied by Israelis. Just wait ‘til He returns to clean up the neighborhood.

Yeah. They were seeking sanctuary, and I guess they forgot about the mosque they built directly on Manger Square.

Did The Madam Secretary lay the tradional bomb belt on the steps of the mosque?

“under Israeli occupation.”

Right. The place where the most famous Jew in the world was born, is ‘under occupation’.

Remember all the carols, “Born is the king of Is-rael’?

I guess we are now to consider that Jesus was a great Palestinian?

There are liberals I personally knew who insisted that Jesus would today be a Palestinian. I countered that he would have been a Jewish settler. They went nuts and turned to ignore mode.

If Joseph and Mary wanted to go to Bethlehem today to have a Jewish child in the city of David, the UN and the State Dept. would go ballistic.

If you're Christian, enjoy it while you can, lady.

Turning over geographical sites and sensitive culturally historical sites to the killer culture, aka "muslims", is the certain shortcut to their destruction.

The mass murdering savages have an unbroken record of destroying and wiping out anything that is even remotely religious that conflicts with their terrorist handbook, the q'ran.
